Christmas Calligraphy Workshop - 19th November

Want to learn a beautiful creative skill that can also be used daily? Modern calligraphy is perfect for you! ✍

My workshops are a great way to learn this relaxing and creative skill. The Beginner's workshop gives you the understanding of the basics so that you can succeed in creating eye catching calligraphy and towards the end of the session we'll create some Christmas cards for you to give to friends or family.

In this workshop you'll be learning:

• The differences between calligraphy and cursive
• How to hold your brush pen
• How to create the basic calligraphy strokes
• How to connect the letters
• How to put these together to form the alphabet in a calligraphic style
• Doodles to decorate white space
• Some Christmas card designs

You will be provided with some pens, some blank greetings cards and a workbook that you'll work with during the event. Your ticket also includes refreshments.

The event will be hosted at Craftology in Stroud.
